We recommend using an touchscreen laptop as the label printing computer. A touchscreen computer is easier to use for the kinds of quick interactions needed for printing labels. A laptop is portable and small, making it ideal for the kinds of spaces that are typically used for label printing.
We recommend getting a computer with an Intel i3 or faster processor and at least 8GB of RAM. Hard drive capacity is not important. A touchscreen is beneficial. Here is our current recommendation for a label printing computer (paid link).
The only label printer we support is the Rollo printer. Rollo makes a fantastic, highly durable, easy to configure thermal label printer that can print on a wide range of labels. The only real limitation is that it cannot print on labels that are more narrow than 1.5 inches. You can buy the Rollo label printer here (paid link). Also, for most labels, you need a label holder, which which you can buy here (paid link).
